Heading to be the largest event in Brazil for disruptive ideas and connections for promoting social and environmental transformations, FIIS is the Innovation and Social Impact Festival and it is coming for its 1st edition from the 2nd to 7th of November, in Poços de Caldas, Minas Gerais. The Festival brings entrepreneurs, professionals and social makers, communications professionals, inspirational people, NGOs and people heading new businesses that generate positive impacts and inspiring results for the society. People that, through networks, turn the initiative of social and environmental transformation their daily principle and for their business too.
Our expectations are that FIIS will gather 1.500 people and that Poços de Caldas will become the capital of Social Innovation. During 6 days of a full program with activities, experiences, interaction, cultural interventions, entertainment, parties, shows, culinary and tourism through the city, even gathering our participants for a Carnival street party, we will make the most of the city and connect people around our goals and common values. All the content is aligned with the 2030 UN Agenda of Sustainable Goals.
The FIIS is promoted by Rede Folha de Empreendedores Socioambientais and Prêmio Empreendedor Social, of Folha de S. Paulo newspaper, in partnership with the Sorriso do Bem annual congress, organized by the OSCIP (Public Interest Civil Society Organization) Turma do Bem. They have the support of Associação Brasileira de Linfoma e Leucemia – ABRALE, a member of Allianza Latina, Instituto Doar, Pitanga, Agenda Pública and Fundação Schwab.
Vivejar, as a B Corp leading social positive impact, is the official partner for sales and registrations and also the official tour operator, designing experiences through Poços de Caldas. Vivejar planned and carefully organised experiences for exploring the essence of the city and involving the local community, valuing their culture and spreading the positive impacts and results from the Festival around the local economy too.
