Once we arrive in the village we will go straight to your hotel for check-in and other arrival procedures. After you settle in, we invite you to go for a walking tour with our host through the village, presenting the main points: the square, the waterfront, spaces for cultural events, shops of indigenous artwork and products from forest, restaurants, bars, market, pharmacy, bank, and other places of priority utility. Spend the evening as you please. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 2- Trail in the Tapajós National Forest and Belterra Village (Breakfast, Lunch)

We meet at the hotel around 7:30 am to head to the Tapajós National Forest region, composed of a rich diversity of landscapes. Our journey there will be done by car and takes about 1 hour and a half. We will do a 2-hour trail through the native forest. After the walk, take some time to relax and enjoy a special lunch made by Dona Conci, a resident of the Jamaraqua community. In the afternoon we will get to know the handicrafts made of latex extracted from the rubber trees in the region and we will take a tour of the village of Belterra, which had an important role and a curious history during the rubber era in the region, with buildings that today are listed as historical heritage. We return to Alter in the late afternoon. Overnight stay.

DAY 3- The Urucureá Community: Regional Crafts (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Today our stop will be in another of the riverside communities in the region, where we will learn about the ancient tradition of making handicrafts with tucumã straw, a typical palm tree in the region. We will participate in a workshop with the artisans to learn a little about the colors, the dyeing processes and the characteristics of traditional braiding. Get ready, as it is practically impossible to leave without a piece! During the afternoon we invite you to relax on one of the beautiful freshwater beaches in the region. Dinner and overnight on board.

DAY 4– The Ecosystem of the Amazon River (Breakfast & Lunch)

We will start the day at Canal do Jari, a location to spot a variety of birds in the region at this narrow stretch of the Amazon River.
